About Hartland, MI - Happy to be your hometown Heating & Air Conditioning Contractor!

Hartland is a municipality in the metro Detroit area of Michigan. A charming and lovely Michigan community situated in an area rich in culture, natural resources, and community spirit – it is very attractive to families with small children who want to live closer to urban areas for work but want their kids to be safe riding their bikes in the streets.  This region’s parks, rivers, lakes, and trails are a wonderful way to waste a temperate spring or summer day.

Pinckney State Recreation Area is home to a number of campgrounds and scores of miles of hiking trails.  It is a great place to bring the kids for a camping trip. Silver Lake is the park hub with a lovely swimming beach on the shore of the lake and entrée to a number of trails. One of the best places to watch the seasons change is along the many beautiful shores and waterways that you will find the area. There is no scarcity of lakes, ponds, rivers and more. Go for a drive along the Huron River, and you will uncover thirteen recreation areas. There are 24 main tributaries and hundreds of miles of water's edge.  The former American Indian commerce water route passes through the following counties:

  • Oakland
  • Livingston
  • Washtenaw
  • Wayne
  • Monroe

This community is also very close to Ann Arbor where the University of Michigan is located. There you will find many museums dedicated to fine art, archaeology, and sciences. Founded in 1879, the University Musical Society is a self-regulating performing arts group that prides itself in bringing international artists in music, dance, and theater to the town. Regional and local performing arts groups not associated with the university include:

  • Ann Arbor Civic Theatre
  • the Arbor Opera Theater
  • the Ann Arbor Symphony Orchestra,
  • the Ann Arbor Ballet Theater
  • the Ann Arbor Civic Ballet (Michigan's first chartered ballet company)

The Ann Arbor Hands-On Museum is located in a renovated fire station downtown. Ann Arbor ranks first among U.S. cities in the number of booksellers and books sold per capita. The Ann Arbor Art Fairs and the Ann Arbor Film Festival are also awesome events. The art fair is in the summer so pack your shorts but if you come for the Film Fest in March you may need to pack a light jacket.
